It is now almost six years ago that Karuna and I opened Intengu Communications’ doors in February 2003 to serve both the public and the private sector with cutting-edge, best-practice marketing and communications solutions.

From contracting the first lonely monthly newsletter, Intengu has grown into a vibrant and dynamic agency, boasting a fully fledged Graphic Design, Web Development and Multi-Media Studio, as well as an Event Management division and Public Relations, Production and Copywriting/Editing sections; supported by the Finance, Human Resources and Administration components.

Intengu Communications has provided the Kei Rail Project with long-term professional and intensive integrated communications support. The support for this flagship Infrastructure project of the Eastern Cape Provincial Government included safety-awareness and passenger-services campaigns, as well as the Eastern Cape Rail Conference. more…

Our events management team travelled to Port Elizabeth on Saturday, 11 October to assist the Department of Roads and Transport with a welcome function for their guests who were attending the National Driver of the Year Competition being held in that city.

The event catered for approximately 400 guests who were welcomed with a non-alcoholic drink and then ushered into a dining area which was decorated in black and white. Fairy lights and candles lit the way for the guests to their seats.

A “speedometer” table mat was designed as part of the centre-piece for each table and each guest received a corporate gift. A three course meal was served.

Entertainment was supplied by AfroMix – a popular well-known Port Elizabeth Jazz Band. more…
