Celia Theart

Celia brings more than two decades of communications experience to Intengu. She has worked as a journalist, lecturer and public relations practitioner in education, provincial government and the private sector.

The highlight of her career was her tenure in the Eastern Cape Premier’s Office after the first non-racial elections in 1994. She excelled in creating  visual identity and drove many high-profile events while promoting the province in general.

Her academic responsibilities have included lecturing communication, advertising, marketing, and public relations up to MBA level.

As Public Relations Manager she successfully led the branding and communications strategy of the newly merged Buffalo City College in East London before taking over as managing director of Intengu Communications.

Karuna Harry

MA Counseling Psychology

Karuna has 25 years experience in the printing industry, fund-raising and event management. She has worked on various research projects and has a good understanding of the social and personal aspects of target audiences and how to reach them.

Karuna applied her people empowerment skills during a local HIV/AIDS project that involved the training of teachers, health workers, councilors and Buffalo City residents. Karuna is an enthusiastic facilitator and has led various workshops, including vision crafting workshops.

Her contribution to Intengu focuses on client satisfaction and creating an energetic corporate culture in the workplace.
